There have been a couple of major developments in our race, and now I have to make a tough decision.

First, my GOP opponent Kevin Lincoln launched new ads on Facebook. He’s currently spending thousands of dollars on ads ahead of our March 5th election.

Then, we learned the money he’s spending against me is coming directly from anti-abortion advocates. Makes sense since he’s on record saying “I am anti-abortion” as if that was something to be proud of!

Now, he’s even getting national attention in the Associated Press for being one of the GOP’s top recruits in the country.

All of this has led me to make a tough decision: Do we spend more of our hard-earned resources on ads ahead of the March election or do we take a risk of coming in 2nd?

I decided we can’t take any chances and approved an additional $10,000 budget for our Get Out the Vote efforts. But to make this happen, I am once again turning to this incredible grassroots team.
