Will the coronavirus prompt souls to return to God?
Dear
John xxxxxx,
When society needs God more than ever...

Churches are closed.

Even the miraculous baths in Lourdes, France, have been shut down.

“Our reaction to the coronavirus reflects the crisis of our secular godless society,” explains John Horvat in his brilliant column.

“Indeed, the management of the coronavirus crisis accepts no help from outside. God has no meaning or function inside all the efforts to eradicate it. In God’s stead, there are the immense powers of government mobilized to control every aspect of life to prevent its spread.

“The mighty arm of science scrambles to find a vaccine. The worlds of finance and technology are brought to bear to mitigate the disastrous effects of the crisis.”

Because we are living in times that require us to practice great faith and confidence in God’s providence, I’m also sending you a post about Saint Peter Armengol.

Saint Armengol was a prodigal son. After his amazing conversion, his confidence was really tested in an unusual way until Our Lady intervened with a stunning miracle.

Finally, please know that I am praying for you and your family at this difficult time.

Thank you for fighting the good fight.
