Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration
Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority
Jerry Davis will serve as a Member of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority.* Davis has been a champion for social justice for 12+ years, with a passion for incorporating holistic approaches to address the needs of historically marginalized communities in the Chicagoland area. He currently serves as the Executive Director of GRO Community in Illinois and Ohio, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of GRO Community and implements programmatic and administrative policies. Prior to becoming Executive Director, Davis was the Director of Clinical Counseling Services with GRO Community and was part of the Becoming a Man (BAM) Training Academy. Davis been recognized for his work with numerous awards, including the Governors State University’s Distinguished Alumni Award and the Illinois Student Laureate Award for Civic Engagement and Excellence. Davis received a Bachelor and Master of Social Work degree from Governors State University.
