My people are in dire danger right now. We don’t have what we need. But I’m gonna fight until we have a healthcare system that works, housing for all, ventilators, gloves and masks. If I’m gonna die, let me die fighting for that.” – Naomi, Washington

Dear John,

Join us tonight at 8:30pm ET/ 5:30pm PT for the Poverty Amidst Pandemic: Everybody’s Got A Right to Live Digital Mass Meeting, featuring Naomi and other testifiers from Arkansas, Washington, Kansas and Missouri along with PPC Co-Chairs Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II & Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis. Tune in on our Facebook Page.

We ask all attendees to light a candle in remembrance of those who have died from COVID-19 and poverty during the mass meeting, and to commit to shine a light on poverty. *See below for accessibility notes.*

This global pandemic makes our work ever more urgent. We must bring together poor and low-wealth people, religious leaders and advocates to lift up the 140 million people who are being abandoned in the midst of abundance. We must continue to organize at this critical moment to shift the moral narrative, build power and impact elections and policies. Join us!

Forward together,

Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival

P.S.: If you have not yet already, please join us to demand that the Trump Administration and Congress fulfill their moral and constitutional responsibilities to the American people and expand the emergency provisions to care for us all and enact our Moral Agenda immediately.
