Dear John,

NPH’s Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) is a measurable and proven way that we’re working toward more equity and inclusion in the affordable housing industry. It’s an internship designed to train low-income college students of color for a career in affordable housing development and project management – and the application to apply to our seventh cohort is now open!

Deadline: Sunday, March 31, 2024

🗣️ Please Spread the Word! College students who qualify for BAHIP often discover the program through word-of-mouth, so please forward this email to your networks!

📓 Who Should Apply? BAHIP is designed for low-income college students of color. We strongly encourage applicants entering their last year of college in fall 2024 who have an interest in urban studies and/or community development. Students who are bi-cultural and/or bilingual/biliterate are also encouraged to apply.

Interested Applicants:

  • Review the Program Description We encourage our applicants to review the program description before completing the application. If you need a Word doc version of the internship application, please email me directly: [email protected]

  • Attend an Info Session There will be two virtual info sessions available for interested applicants to attend. Come to get questions answered about the internship and application process: Tuesday, March 12 at 11AM-12PM and Monday, March 18 at 10AM-11. Please RSVP/get the link for the webinar by emailing me: [email protected]

Deadline: Sunday, March 31, 2024

BAHIP has been making an impact in our field for years, diversifying and strengthening our field. I’m proud to continue this work toward a more equitable future for our industry!

Onward,
