From limiting instances where people are taken into custody to maximizing the use of cite and release for as many offenses as possible; there are ways to stop the spread of coronavirus in our communities and in our local jails.
We’ve heard from a few sheriffs that they are taking steps to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19, but we need your help finding out how local law officials are handling this pandemic across the country.
Thank you for taking action today and calling your sheriff’s office. It’s the first step to making sure that every single sheriff is doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.
