Colorado State House Representative (and fellow Denver DSA member) Elisabeth Epps has introduced a bill that would repeal Colorado’s only anti-BDS law. House bill HB24-1169 is an “anti-anti-BDS” bill that would remove the current requirements that the public employees’ retirement association (PERA) divest from companies that have economic prohibitions against Israel. Over 200,000 public employees pay into PERA and they are required by law to fund Israel and its genocide via their retirement.

We need your support to make Colorado BDS friendly once again! Please call and email your State House Representative in support of HB24-1169! We would also appreciate your support in attending the Finance Committee Meeting Monday 2/26 to testify in support of the bill!
