China’s Sneaky Moves 👀





I’ve said it time and again, but the proof is in the pudding: China is coming
for us, and they’re not knocking on the door—they’re waltzing right in.



The chaotic mess at our southern border continues to drag on, but now there’s
a major plot twist. According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), they’re
seeing moreChinese migrants

in the San Diego sector than Mexican nationals. To add fuel to the fire, most
Chinese border-crossers are single adult men of military age.



Take a moment to let this sink in. These aren't women and children seeking
refuge from a communist government; these aregrown men

of fighting age. Just saying it out loud sends chills down my spine, and
that's not the only way they’re trying to weasel into our country.



Just last week, leaked Chinese hacking documents

gave us a peek into just how far-reaching and powerful China's hacking
operations can be. From government agencies to businesses, they've got a tight
grip on their targets worldwide—and it'd be downright foolish to think we’re
not at the top of that list.



Consider the AT&T outage that made headlines yesterday. With tens of thousands
of customers, this fiasco sent our country into full-blown panic mode. The
company says it was due to asoftware update

gone wrong, and I trust that what they say is true—but what about next time?



As Sen. Marco Rubio

warned, this was a blip on the radar compared to what a Chinese cyberattack
would unleash. If they're coming for us, they're after much more than our cell
service. Their sophisticated hacking could potentially disrupt everything we
hold near and dear, from power and water to our entire banking systems.



Democrats have consistently turned a blind eye to China’s shenanigans, and I,
for one, have had enough. For heaven’s sake, they sent a dadgumspy balloon

country’s airspace and didn’t even get a slap on the wrist.



The alarm bells are ringing so loud I can’t hear myself think. We can’t let
Biden and his fellow Democrats continue to drag us down a path where we end up
at the mercy of the Communist Chinese. It’s high time we close the border,
secure our cyber landscape, and tell China they’re barking up the wrong tree.




 



Remembering A Knoxville Legend 🧡

It’s with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to a true legend
<[link removed]>
in the Knoxville community. Robert J. Booker will forever be known as a revered
African American historian
<[link removed]>
and one of the leaders of Knoxville’s Civil Rights Movement, leaving a mark on
our community forever.



I had the pleasure of knowing Bob personally for many years, and I’m happy to
have so many fond memories of him. He worked with my dad at UT and knew my mama
because she taught at Knoxville College. Bob’s hospitality knew no bounds, and
he welcomed me into his home for many parties, which is why I can attest to his
incredible record collection. But one of my fondest memories of Bob was in a
good old-fashioned Tennessee honky-tonk, where he dedicated his karaoke song to
Kelly and me as we were standing in the back.



Beyond those personal moments, Bob was an icon who fought for what he believed
in. That’s exactly why Joe Armstrong and I named a bridge after him when I was
in the state legislature.



He will be missed, but there’s no denying the impact he had on our community.
I know his legacy will be talked about and celebrated for generations to come.
