*Dear Neighbors,*

The second week of session is in the books! I?m keeping a busy schedule with committee meetings, constituent visits, and work on my legislative priorities. Here?s a quick update from the capitol:

*Intern for a Day*

Kick off of my office's Intern for a Day program was this week! Thank you to the brilliant high school students for joining us and the amazing Kelly Streit for helping to bring this great opportunity to our youth leaders.

*PACT Act and your VA Benefits*

The PACT Act is a new law expanding VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. This law helps the VA provide generations of Veterans and their survivors with the care and benefits they have earned and deserve. *Upcoming Town Hall*

Join us for our Senate District 50 Legislative Town Hall on Thursday, February 29th from 6-7pm at Edina Community Lutheran! I look forward to seeing you there and answering any questions you may have about the 2024 session.

*Student Visit*

Thank you, Southview Middle School Environment Club students, for joining Senator Alice Mann and me at the Capitol today!

*In the Community*

Edina residents Ron Bausman, Diana, and the Bridging team gave me a tour today to show me how their vital person centered service supports families. Bridging works by allowing Minnesotans who qualify to have the dignity of choosing what items they would want to furnish their homes.

*DONATIONS are needed! *Please check out the sheets below to find out about well maintained items needed - specifically I know they could use more:?


* Upholstered furniture (couches and chairs)
* Pillows?
* Mattresses
* Rugs and lamps!?
