John,

Last Friday, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that frozen embryos created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) are legally children and can therefore be protected as such.

Classifying embryos as children under state law will have major repercussions for reproductive rights. Unused embryos in IVF are often destroyed, which could open families and clinics up to wrongful death lawsuits under Alabama's policy.

Once again, a Conservative court has disastrously interfered with the relationship between patients and their doctors, and this ruling could criminalize common medical procedures that have made it possible for millions of people to become parents.

We're running a live poll to find out what this community thinks about the Alabama Supreme Court's decision, and we want to hear from you, John. Make your voice heard by taking our short survey now >>

Do you agree with the Alabama Supreme Court's decision that frozen embryos are children?
