Last week, a judge in New York found Trump liable for violating state laws and fined him over $400 million. NY Attorney General Letitia James, who Trump has spent months unfairly criticizing, said, “Donald Trump is finally facing accountability for his lying, cheating, and staggering fraud. Because no matter how big, rich, or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law.”

We couldn’t agree more. Every single person should be held to the same standard under the law, even a former President of the United States. Listen, Trump is not the only powerful individual that has gotten away with fraud and corruption for too long (Clarence Thomas, Mitch McConnell, George Santos…), but we’re thankful that justice, in this instance, has been served at last.
