Dear John,

This legislative session may be short, but it’s been busy!

Early in the five-week session that kicked off February 5, pro-life lawmakers worked to schedule a hearing for two pro-life measures, HB 4108: [[link removed]]Born Alive Infants Protection Act and SB 1536: [[link removed]]Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

These issues matter because unborn babies currently have no legal protections in Oregon.

State law doesn’t even contain explicit protections for babies who survive abortion attempts, leaving them vulnerable [[link removed]] to medical neglect.

Unfortunately, our pro-life bills weren’t scheduled for a hearing – but we are thankful for the heart and dedication of the legislators who supported them!

If you haven’t already, please let your pro-life lawmaker know just how much you appreciate their commitment to being a voice for the voiceless. Click the button below to send a pre-crafted message.

We also want to thank you, John, for everything you do to protect Oregon’s most vulnerable.
