[email protected] APPELLATE COURT VICTORY SENDS MESSAGE TO NATION: ONLY CITIZENS CAN VOTE IN US ELECTIONS “Voting is a sacred right reserved for our citizens and this decision sent a giant message to the nation that we are not going to allow Democrats to illegally eradicate our rights.” Buffalo, New York--February 23rd…Congressman Nick Langworthy applauded the Appellate Court's decision ruling affirming the unconstitutionality of Democrats’ law to allow non-citizens to vote in certain New York elections. Mr. Langworthy, who previously served as Chairman of the New York Republican Party, led the charge to bring the lawsuit to block the New York City Council’s law from taking effect. The state’s lower courts previously ruled in favor of the plaintiffs and the ruling was upheld on appeal. Congressman Langworthy cited the national implications of this historic decision, saying “New York has been ground zero for the radical left’s policies to remake America, but when I served as chairman of the NYGOP, I sprang into action and led the charge to fight back against the New York City Council’s assault on the integrity of our elections. This decision affirming our win to block non-citizens from voting in our elections is a massive victory for election integrity nationwide. Voting is a sacred right reserved for our citizens and this decision sent a giant message to the nation that we are not going to allow Democrats to illegally eradicate our rights. When you fight back, you can win.” New York’s 23rd Congressional District encompasses parts of Erie County, along with Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Chemung, and Schuyler Counties. ### Langworthy for Congress | P.O.
