This Week's Highlights

Monday

WFW PAC-endorsed candidate Alison Esposito (NY-18) spoke out against anti-Israel protests that took place in the Hudson Valley.

Esposito highlighted how Hamas terrorists are still holding 130 hostages, including American citizens, and reiterated her strong support for our ally Israel.

Tuesday

WFW PAC-endorsed candidate Leslie Lewallen (WA-03) shared new data on inflation that shows the extent to which prices have skyrocketed since President Biden took office.

According to the Associated Press, "[t]he costs of services — including auto insurance, apartment rents, and concert tickets — are still rising faster than they did before the pandemic and keeping overall inflation persistently high. The cost of car insurance has soared more than 20%, on average, compared with a year ago."

Wednesday

Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02), a former Navy fighter pilot, introduced bipartisan legislation this week designed to help troops who are serving overseas.

The Foreign Overseas Residence Conditions Enhancement (FORCE) Act “seeks to establish uniform housing standards within the DoD and to determine what improvements are needed in overseas housing for our military, so that Congress can best direct funding to ensure our service members receive necessary quality of life improvements.”

Thursday

In a move that economists say will make inflation worse, the Biden administration is bailing out 150,000 student loan borrowers. Critics are accusing him of trying to buy votes in an Election Year.

Not only will it raise prices, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) rightly points out that it is unfair to Americans who paid off their loans or did not take them out in the first place.
