We emailed you yesterday to let you know about our new expose. Sir Paul Marshall, the founder of news and commentary website Unherd and co-owner of right-wing channel GB News, has, for months, been engaging with extreme and racist online accounts.

Sir Paul Marshall is trying to buy The Spectator and The Telegraph. If he succeeds, he will become one of the most powerful media owners in the country. So we need to let the Government and Ofcom know about his social media activity so they take it into account when they make the decision on whether the sale goes ahead.

Please will you put a stop to his media takeover? Email Lucy Frazer MP, The Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and Ofcom today.

Hidden behind a private Twitter account, Marshall has endorsed posts that call for mass-deportation of migrants and which suggest a civil war between “native Europeans” and “fake refugee invaders” is imminent.

These opinions are extreme and it's clear that anyone who holds them is not fit to control so much of our media landscape.

John, please take a minute to ask the Government to consider his suitability to own so much of the media.
