This year we will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of pivotal World War II actions like the D-Day invasion, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. We are currently in the middle of the 80th anniversary of “Big Week,” a series of consecutive bombing raids on aircraft assembly plants in Germany. This was an all-out effort by the USAAF and the RAF to wrestle air superiority from the Luftwaffe ahead of Operation Overload. We’re going to do all that we can to make sure that the historic achievements of these brave patriots get the recognition they deserve.
