* RINO Power Play. Led by former Vice President and traitor to Trump Mike Pence, RINOs are launching a multi-million dollar effort to crush grassroots. Pence’s American Solutions Project is “an effort to directly counter the swelling tide of populism.” The group’s goal is to stop Trump and the growing grassroots influence and put power back in the hands of the UniParty/Establishment elite. Kind of sounds like Heidi Ganahl’s Road to Red project in Colorado where she courted big dollar donors with the goal of getting grassroots going in what she called “the right direction.” Like Pence’s group, that direction leads straight to RINO land. * Trump’s America First v. Pence’s So-Called Conservative Principles. So how does Pence really differ from Trump and his MAGA allies? Two key issues. America’s role in the world - Pence is a war monger. And national economic policy - Pence’s sole goal is to help the rich get richer. Trump is America first. * Fed Investigating RINO CD3 Candidate Stephen Varela. Feds are investigating CD3 candidate and current Board of Education member Stephen Varela for alleged misuse of union funds. Varela used to be the President of the American Federation of Government Workers union in southern Colorado. He’s accused of misappropriating $100,000 and using the union bank account as his personal slush fund. That gets him a spot on the RINO Wall of Shame. * RINO Alert - Joy Overbeck. Parker Conservatives’ Mark Hampton warns be on the lookout for RINOs pretending to be grassroots. He cites Joy Overbeck’s 2016 anti-Trump column and subsequent fake Trump support as an example. He calls Heidi Ganahl, Anthony Hartsook and Joy Overbook “a menage a trois picture of RINOism in the Republican Establishment of Colorado.” And urges us to “stand shoulder to shoulder with true conservative grassroots, a formidable phalanx in the quest for authenticity and justice, undeterred by the posts and articles of the divisive Establishment and RINOs.” (Click on the RINO Watch link above for the full story).
* Grabbing Guns. Colorado Liberty Scorecard is tracking three gun grabbing bills proposed by radical Dems in the Colorado Legislature. An assault weapon ban, prohibiting concealed carry by teachers and school administrators and requiring firearm liability insurance. And after they are done dismantling the Second Amendment they will go after your vehicle, giving the State total authority over parking space requirements in local developments.
