Dear John
This is very exciting news. In
a week’s time, we will see the much-anticipated return of the ‘Please
Explain’ cartoon series. We know how much
you’ve loved the first two series, so by popular demand, it’s
back!
Our cartoon series has helped shape the
Australian political landscape since its launch in 2022.
The ‘Please Explain’ bat has been swung at
political actors of all stripes, not just the party in power. Be
assured, that is the way it will always be.
One of the most important messages conveyed by
the show is how immature our political leaders are.
The Prime Minister and State Premiers display
immaturity in spades. How hard would it be to admit, ‘Hey, look, I
told you tax cuts were here to stay, but I
lied’. To admit your gut-faced lie shows
maturity, and you may even be forgiven.
Will Albo’s loose association with the truth be
the subject of cartoon ridicule? We shall see.

The Queensland Premier could have shown maturity
and clarity of mind when asked about tragic murders at a press
conference just a few weeks ago. Instead, he laughed at the question
like a school kid. No one can deny
it’s a sign of immaturity.
None of our current crop of government leaders
have worked in the real world. They haven’t sweated in a kitchen,
built a business from the ground up, had a career down a mine at the
coal face, or worked long hours keeping a farm going.
Hard work building a career matures a person,
along with family and connection to the community.
Maturity is what a modern country like Australia
needs to face complex challenges: people who
have developed skills in the real world and apply those skills to
making laws that help bring simplicity and ease to people’s
lives.

Complex, costly, aggressive, and cumbersome laws
are what’s created when a leader has no real-life experience. A lack
of maturity is a primary reason so many of our laws are making life
hard for people.
At every turn, in almost every scene of ‘Please
Explain’, our political crop of leaders
displays how their immaturity is gravely affecting the potential
success of our nation.
Be assured, left-wing
complaints about
the humour and fun of the
‘Please Explain’ series won’t dampen our creative energy to deliver on
this show. Their whining is the sound of immature sulking.
One Nation will always present a responsible,
mature, and confident face for Australia. Our pledge is to say the
things that need to be said, and present the policies that are at
times tough but are also what are needed to progress our country to
the highest levels possible. That’s maturity.

James Ashby, One Nation
candidate for Keppel, discusses the complex issue of crime in
regional Queensland. There are real solutions to the crime problem,
but Labor has spent the last 9 years making the problem
worse.

This past week,
Senator Malcolm Roberts has been working hard to
expose the underhanded deals that were made to force the population to
take the vaccine. The footage of the interrogation and Sky News'

Sarah Game MLC, South Australia One Nation,
carries the torch for us on accountability. Sarah's work in South
Australia to make politicians and parliament more accountable is to be
commended.
