All over the country, people are being targeted because of what they believe, who they are, what they look like, and whom they love.
It seems like our nation has never been as polarized as it is today.
We need someone who can stand up to extremists in the media and in Congress. I’m no stranger to fights against bullies, whether it’s the gun lobby, anti-LGBT discriminators, or greedy corporations trying to take advantage of hardworking folks. We can’t stand idly by while some in Washington try to tear our nation apart by turning us against each other.
I will always be on the side of love, unity, and understanding. That’s how we’ve made progress in America for almost 250 years — and I believe that’s still how we can make progress in the future.
