Under Joe Biden, we have seen 7.2 million illegals enter the United States. To put that in perspective, that's a figure greater than the population of 36 states.
Still, Biden has continued to blame House Republicans for the border crisis he created by ending President Trump's effective policies such as Remain in Mexico. Biden wanted us to accept the Senate's flawed border deal that went down in flames earlier this month. He claimed that he "didn't have the authority" to secure the border, which is a total lie.
Bear in mind, House Republicans passed our own comprehensive border bill, H.R. 2, last May. The bill continues construction of the border wall, mandates E-verify and implements much needed asylum reform. Nearly 300 days later, this bill continues to sit on Senate Democrat, Chuck Schumer's desk, without action.
However, the Biden Administration knows that there is indeed a crisis on our southern border, which they have only recently admitted publicly. Reports tell us that Joe Biden is considering reimplementing various Trump policies to halt the influx of millions of so-called "asylum seekers" at our southern border. By all means, I want Biden to do the right thing and end this cataclysm. Only time will tell if this is just misdirection by his administration.
