Subject: Embrace the Momentum: Your Party Needs You!

Aloha Members of the Hawaii Republican Party,

As we stand on the edge of a pivotal year. I am inspired by the patriots across the nation coming together to build the party from the grassroots up and as your State Chair, it is both my privilege and duty to rally the troops as we approach significant goals on our path that lies ahead

The Caucus Calls - March 12th Awaits!

Our Caucus on March 12th is not just a date on the calendar; it's a call for unity, action, growth, and commitment. As we draw closer, the need for volunteers across the state, particularly on Oahu, has never been more pressing. Your involvement and volunteering is the lifeblood of our success, and I ask you all to step forward. Visit (here) ([link removed]) for details and to sign up to volunteer or connect with your County Chair to sign up. Your participation is crucial in shaping the future and how we impact the outcome.

The Prince Kuhio Dinner - A Night of Honor and Purpose

Looking ahead, the Prince Kuhio Dinner, scheduled for April 13th, 2024, promises to be an evening of significance and celebration. Our First Vice Chair, Kaulana Lee, alongside his committee, have been working hard to ensure this event is not only memorable but also a testament to our shared values and aspirations. Tickets are now available, and I encourage you not to miss out on this traditional and special occasion. (see details and tickets below)

State Convention - A Call to Leadership

The date of our State Convention is also drawing nearer. As we prepare to convene, remember that this gathering is a potent opportunity for leadership, learning, and laying the groundwork for our future rules and platforms. If you are interested in being a delegate, now is the time to reach out to your District and County Chairs. Delegate positions are a chance to contribute directly and impact change.

A Unified Vision for Progress

In every venture, it is important to remember why we embark on this journey . Our focus must remain on the larger picture, such as the people, our State, the Party, our candidates, our future, our freedoms, our faith, and our country. It is only through a unified vision and concerted effort that we can gain the progress we aspire to achieve.

We need to move forward with the common goals, guided by the principles that bring us together and the shared commitment to a brighter future for Hawaii and our nation. IF we can do this together... we can be unstoppable.

Mahalo,
Tamara McKay

Petitions which are filed at least 30 days before the State Convention is convened must be signed by at least five (5) duly qualified delegates. Petitions which are filed less than 30 days in advance must be signed by at least 25 duly qualified delegates.

Where there is no properly nominated candidate for an office, nominations of candidates may be made from the floor of the State Convention.
And all signatures and submissions due by Friday April 10th at 5pm.

In 2018 East Honolulu was hit by a catastrophic flash flood that left the area on either side of Kalaniana’ole Highway ravaged for miles. Adopting the Wailupe Stream, the only natural stream bed in East O’ahu, has provided us with a remarkable opportunity to connect with our neighbors, all of whom remember the devastation vividly.

You can learn a lot about someone when you’re covered in tall grass cuttings under a blazing Hawaiian sun. Namely that we’re more alike than we are different, and that we can do more by working together. And that was the whole point.
