There’s been a lot happening here on Team Salinas over these past few months, so I wanted to reach out with the three most important things to know about this race right now:

1. With the stage set for a 2022 rematch, our election is going to be extremely close. In 2022, Andrea’s race was decided by just 7,000 votes. Mike Erickson, Andrea’s 2022 Republican opponent, just launched his campaign to defeat her, and we know it’s going to be even more competitive this time around. The fate of this election could come down to only a handful of votes, which means having the resources to reach and turn out every single voter is critical.
    
2. Republicans are already preparing to spend millions of dollars to defeat Andrea. The GOP and their far-right dark money backers have already signaled that unseating Andrea and flipping OR-06 red is an absolute priority for them. We already know we’ll be up against millions of dollars worth of GOP attack ads this year, so your support has never been more important.
    
3. The path to the House Majority runs through Oregon, and it starts with keeping OR-06 blue. We can’t afford another two years of the GOP’s radical agenda. Our ability to stop the extreme MAGA Majority and ensure Congress can actually deliver for the American people hinges on keeping our district blue. With everything we care about on the line – reproductive rights, tackling the climate crisis, health care, education and so much more – we can’t afford to fall short.
