There’s less than a month to go before Election Day, and the hotly contested race for State’s Attorney is getting even hotter every day.

Yesterday, WBEZ reported that my opponent’s campaign is bankrolled by dangerous, right wing donors–from anti-abortion extremist Stephen Daday to hate group leader Gary Gerst. It’s alarming, but it’s true.

As we stare down the barrel of a potential second Trump administration, the last thing we need is local leaders who are beholden to extremists who don't share our values.

Can you rush a donation right now to make sure we have the resources we need to fight back?

We know that if voters hear our message about bringing true public safety to every community in Cook County–all while continuing to push forward on the crucial work of criminal justice reform–we will win. But spreading the word costs money, and I’m not taking checks from right wing extremists like my opponent.

Our campaign is driven by grassroots volunteers and by Democrats who share our values like you do. And we need you now.

Please give whatever you can to make sure we keep the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office moving forward–not back to the bad old days of wrongful convictions and coerced confessions.
