This was just one of four events I attended last week, John. I’m talking to voters every chance I get because I care about our communities. This isn’t an extension of a high school popularity contest for me. Unlike Boebert, I’m not worried about my image. I’m worried about our country.
We have the least productive Congress since the Great Depression. I’m not exaggerating. The House voted 749 times last year and passed only 27 bills, and Lauren Boebert is part of the problem.
The House has voted 54 times already since January. Boebert wasn’t even inside the chamber to vote 20% of the time, meaning her constituents had no representation.
Every lawmaker misses a vote here or there, but no one is absent as often as Boebert. If you or I missed work that many times, we’d be out of a job!
Don’t let her fool you on her campaign stops, John. Lauren Boebert doesn’t show up for her country or for the good people of CO-03 who elected her, and she won’t show up for us, either.
But I will.
Semper Fi,
Ike McCorkle
