Did you see this John?

The Independent interviewed voters in our district last month, and they asked them their thoughts on Lauren Boebert. Most everyone agreed: she’s going to have a hard time winning in CO-04.

But there was one suggestion Boebert seems to have taken seriously. It was that she can improve her chances if she’s out talking face-to-face with voters.

She’s trying, but it’s not going so well.

A graphic displaying a post on Twitter from Ike (@Ike4CO) that reads “The Prowers County Republican Party invited ALL local and state candidates to a Meet & Greet today, and Lauren Boebert wasn’t too happy to see me. This was her face when I walked in.” Below the tweet is a photo of Lauren Boebert looking shocked and off balance after seeing Ike. Below the photo are stats from the tweet that show 3.1 thousand shares, 14,000 likes, and 109 bookmarks.

I challenged Lauren Boebert’s lies when I showed up last weekend, and then you showed up for me. I honestly can’t thank you enough for sharing my posts, donating to our campaign, and helping me fight for this district.

If we double the support we got over the weekend TODAY, we can ride past our February fundraising goal and launch our canvassing program two weeks ahead of schedule.

Will you help me show Lauren what real patriotism looks like?

This was just one of four events I attended last week, John. I’m talking to voters every chance I get because I care about our communities. This isn’t an extension of a high school popularity contest for me. Unlike Boebert, I’m not worried about my image. I’m worried about our country.

We have the least productive Congress since the Great Depression. I’m not exaggerating. The House voted 749 times last year and passed only 27 bills, and Lauren Boebert is part of the problem.

The House has voted 54 times already since January. Boebert wasn’t even inside the chamber to vote 20% of the time, meaning her constituents had no representation.

Every lawmaker misses a vote here or there, but no one is absent as often as Boebert. If you or I missed work that many times, we’d be out of a job!

Don’t let her fool you on her campaign stops, John. Lauren Boebert doesn’t show up for her country or for the good people of CO-03 who elected her, and she won’t show up for us, either.

But I will.
