President Trump definitely made the RIGHT DECISION banning flights from China early on and by temporarily banning flights from Europe.

However, because of Congress's repeated failure to fully fund the construction of the border wall, over 12,000 Chinese nationals snuck across our southern border into the United States last year. And they continue to come in illegally with: 

• NO Checks
  NO Visas
  NO Health Screenings

If Congress leaves the backdoor wide open, locking the front door doesn't solve the problem. 

We must focus on what matters, and that means that in addition to the coronavirus relief measures already being taken, WE MUST COMPLETE THE BORDER WALL. When this pandemic is in the rear-view mirror, we must ensure that our border is no longer wide open. Our national security and our health depend on it.

Too many Republicans have been unwilling to make this a priority. That includes my main opponent in this primary election, who said in 2017: I'm not sure a wall is the best way to do it.

WELL, I AM SURE.

The case for secure borders has never been stronger. President Trump understands this and that's why he made BUILDING THE WALL the focus of his campaign and why I've also made it the focus of mine!
