John,
Since I launched my campaign to represent Illinois' 4th Congressional District, our campaign has received the support and endorsement of remarkable individuals and organizations that share our vision of progress.
Each and every one of these individuals are confident in my background and my experience that allows me to make a difference for our communities as your representative, making these efforts worth it.
|
But, John, I'm personally reaching out today because I couldn't help but notice that there's one endorsement we're missing—yours!
As a long-time resident of Illinois, progressive community leader and public servant for almost 40 years fighting for immigration rights, universal health care, public safety, and workers’ rights, your endorsement would help me push harder in this critical race.
I am dedicated to making a difference in our community, and with the primary elections well underway, your endorsement will not only help us measure the strength of our campaign, but help us keep pushing forward.
John, as a people-powered campaign, your support is what can help me turn my vision of progress into a reality. So, will you join my team of supporters by endorsing my campaign today?

Chuy received an outpouring of local and national support and helped reawaken the independent progressive movement in Chicago.
Chuy has received many distinctions for his tireless advocacy of social justice. Chuy and his wife, Evelyn, continue to reside in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood where they enjoy the company of their three children and several grandchildren.
