I want to be completely honest with you.


I am sympathetic to the tragic circumstances of the Ukrainian people. The reality is that their homes are being destroyed with every passing day. It’s absolutely gut-wrenching.


The goal of the United States should be to end the war; there is no doubt about it. But policymakers are trying to pass a bill that would give another $60 billion to Ukraine in aid without any kind of strategy. Our current reality is that Russia has a much larger set of resources and will win the war unless the United States is willing to step in to help.

Let me be clear: the Biden administration has not shown any strategy to help negotiate the end of the war. Simply throwing money at the situation is not enough. And every day that we let pass by worsens the situation for Ukrainian citizens.


But I want to hear what you think.
