not bans on DEI

John,

With the property insurance crisis and rising costs affecting everyday Floridians, what do you think politicians in Tallahassee are focused on during the one time a year they can pass legislation?

The answer, unfortunately, is restricting access to “Intro to Sociology” and banning DEI at our state universities.

John, not only is this ridiculous, it’s harmful to our students.

FIU, where I teach, has a student population of over 70% students of color. My alma mater, UCF, also has a majority-minority student population. Cutting funding for diversity programs is cruel and just another sign our state is off track.

We need balance, not extremism, in the Florida Capitol. I’m ready to make OUR voices heard in Tallahassee and flip HD 106 — and we’re building a community-backed, people-focused movement to make it happen!

Can you click here to prove that Floridians want to bring back balance to the Capitol?

We're not just fighting against extremism — we're pushing for bipartisan solutions on the real issues, like the insurance crisis, the cost of groceries, climate change, and so much more.

Let's bring balance back to the Florida Capitol! Be a part of the action — if you can, please donate today!

Thank you,
