Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Juvenile Justice

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of OJJDP News @ a Glance,?February 2024.

This month?s feature stories focus on an OJJDP-funded center launched by Georgetown University to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in youth justice, and the ways two jurisdictions are using diversion programs to provide community-based services to youth while improving public safety.

?From the Field? features an effort led by the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to help parents protect their children from financial sextortion. The issue also highlights OJJDP?s plans to mark the 50th anniversary of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act throughout 2024.
