The exploitation of children revives images of a bygone era devoid of basic worker protections. It disproportionately impacts children of color and those from low-income families, exacerbating existing racial and income inequalities.
We must safeguard our children's futures against the backdrop of economic interests that threaten to undermine decades of progress in child labor law enforcement.
