Friend,

I’m sure you’ve seen the clips all over the news the past couple of weeks: A gang of illegal immigrants assaulted an NYPD officer right in the middle of Times Square. 

To make matters worse, after this group of violent criminals were given a get out of jail free card and released back onto our streets, they gave the finger to the cameras and onlookers outside. 

I don’t take blatant disrespect for our police officers, our communities, and our country lightly.

There is so much wrong with this story, but it starts with one thing: Joe Biden’s decision to keep the border open. 

The fact of the matter is if Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Alejandro Mayorkas did their jobs and secured our border, this situation could have been avoided entirely.

Seeing stories like this are why I decided to run for the U.S. Senate. As a former federal law enforcement officer, seeing crime run rampant in our streets really honks me off. And the fact that it is incentivized by the weak-on-crime Democrats makes my stomach turn. 

America is on the fast track toward a culture of crime that we won’t be able to battle back from. 

Organized crime, assaults, car jackings, murders, drug trafficking — they are ALL on the rise. We need leaders with the experience and backbone to put a stop to this.

As a former federal law enforcement officer, veteran, and kid brought up in a military family, I am a firm believer in tough love. We have to bring an end to Joe Biden’s crime wave, and send the very clear message that crime has no place in our states, cities, and towns.

And that starts with restoring true leadership in Washington.
