*Dear What's On subscribers...*

This week, we have a further update on how new Government legislation will affect events in Nottingham.

Thank you for your continued support of What's On. We'll endeavour to keep you updated and will publish the next weekly newsletter in due course.

*As a reminder;*last week, we told you that all Nottingham City Council outdoor events scheduled between now and the end of May are being either* cancelled or re-scheduled to a later date.*

This includes:*

**Peel Street Cave Tours [ [link removed] ]*-*Friday 20 March,**Tuesday 7 April,**Friday 17 April

*Vaisakhi [ [link removed] ] (19 April)*and other c**ommunity-led events including **have also been postponed*

**Summer Nights - Outdoor Cinema* [ [link removed] ]at Wollaton Hall from 7-9 May*

Decisions on *St Georges Day (23 April)* and events to commemorate the 75th anniversary of *VE Day (8 May)* and any events post May will be made in due course.

How to get ticket refunds
Credit cards

If you have booked an event through What's On Nottingham or directly, through our ticketing partner - Gigantic you will be *contacted by email* with details concerning your refund.

In most cases, we aim to process refunds in five working days.

Please* avoid calls or emails* during this period as this may slow down response times.




Rescheduled events
Events

It is clearly disappointing for an event to be cancelled, and we are working with venues and promoters to look at the possibility of rescheduling some events.

We will let you know as soon as possible when we are able to announce rescheduled date.

Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall

*UPDATE AS OF 24 MARCH:*Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall Nottingham will remain closed until further notice.

Ticket holders will be contacted directly via email to let them know if the event they were planning to attend has been cancelled or rescheduled.

Please do not come in person to collect refunds as the box office is closed.

Wollaton Park
Wollaton

Wollaton Hall buildings and facilities are closed. The park is accessible for local pedestrians and cyclists to maintain social distancing (2m)

*Outdoor Theatre* tickets remain on sale for the time being.

Motorpoint Arena
Motorpoint

**UPDATE AS OF 24 MARCH:**The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is now closed to all customers until at least 30 April 2020. Call centre operation will also be closed until further notice in line with the government lockdown.

It is hoped that the majority of events affected will be able to reschedule to a later date.

Newstead Abbey
Newstead

Newstead Abbey buildings and facilities are closed (including the car parks). The park remains accessible to local residents to maintain social distancing (2m)

*Adventure Cinema* on 23and 24May (Lion King and Rocky Horror Picture Show) is postponed and organisers are looking for a new date.

*Outdoor Theatre* tickets remain on sale for the time being.

Lakeside Arts
Lakeside Arts

Lakesides existing programme of exhibitions, workshops, talks and events is cancelled until 1 May and all buildings and facilities are now closed.

A decision has been taken to postpone the Nottingham 10k to 2021.

This event is now cancelled. Ticket refunds for this event will be processed automatically over the next few weeks, you do not need to contact the event.

*The Vamps, Rick Astley, Sleeper, Becky Hill and more Join Supergrass, James and Belinda Carlisle at Splendour

*After careful consideration, the decision has been made to go ahead and announce the next wave of artists for Splendour 2020.

As the event isnt for another four months, it is hoped this years festival will go ahead as planned.

In the event that Splendour is postponed or cancelled, you will be able to use your ticket for 2021 or receive a refund.
