Legislative Update
This week started with the presentation of HF 3437, a bill to rename the Highway 169 bridge in honor of Michael Gau to the Transportation Committee alongside Rep. Klevorn, Michael's wife, and his daughter. I am honored to be a co-author on this bill and to be working across the aisle to get this important legislation across the finish line. Michael was an incredible public servant and dedicated to his community. He is more than deserving of being commemorated in this way.

With National FFA week well underway, I want to recognize all of the hard-working Future Farmers of America who put so much effort into their education and preparing to provide for the future of our nation. FFA is so much more than just rocks and cows. The friendly competition and educational opportunities prepare students across the nation for their futures not just in agriculture but also in business, science, and countless other industries. Happy FFA Week to all of our dedicated students and advisors.
