It's no secret that Republicans need a champion—a candidate who not only talks the talk but can walk the walk straight to victory in the general election against the Democrats. Unfortunately, we've seen our fair share of contenders who couldn't deliver when it mattered most. Dan Cox's past candidacy cost Maryland another Republican governor, and Neil Parrot? He's had not one, but two chances at this seat, and still couldn't seal the deal, even with the odds in his favor last year when the maps were re-drawn.

Let's call it like it is: these candidates have failed us, time and time again.

They've shown they can't resonate with the diverse electorate of our district, spanning both Frederick and Montgomery counties. And we simply cannot afford to take that risk again.

I’m running for Congress because I was raised by a single mom in Puerto Rico who always showed me how hard work and determination is what makes us all live the American dream. I learned english when I was 5 years old, and from that young age always felt so proud to be an American.

I’m running for Congress as a military veteran. I began my journey of service to our nation in 2005 when I joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 20. During my military service I had the honor of serving my county abroad in the Global War on Terror, serving within the Task Force Medical and the Bagram Theater Internment Facility (BTIF) in Bagram, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2007. I know what sacrifice looks like - and this is why I love my country so much.

But it's clear that under the Biden administration, we face significant challenges, our prospects are dwindling, we are weak on the world stage, our economy is failing, and American families are being left behind every single day.

As a military veteran, I intimately understand the profound significance of service and the willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice for my country. My time in the military taught me the unwavering commitment to duty, honor, and the defense of freedom. It's a bond that transcends words; a deep-seated connection with the men and women I served alongside, many of whom paid the ultimate price. I've witnessed the selflessness, courage, and dedication that define the character of those who choose to protect their nation.

As a medical logistician, my mission was to ensure that our dedicated warfighters had the essential tools and supplies required to save lives on the frontlines. I understood the critical nature of my role in providing our troops with the medical resources and equipment they needed to deliver immediate care in challenging and high-stress situations. I am now prepared to take the knowledge, commitment, and understanding I gained in that role with me to Congress, where I will tirelessly advocate for policies that will support our country, military and American families first. Above anything.

As a mother, I understand firsthand the deep commitment and love that comes with the responsibility of providing for one's family. In the countless roles we take on as parents - caregiver, protector, educator, and provider - we become intimately acquainted with the challenges and triumphs of family life. We witness the struggles that many families face, whether it's making ends meet, securing access to quality education, or ensuring our children have the healthcare they need. It's in these moments that we are inspired to take action, to advocate for better opportunities, and to fight for a brighter future for our families.

I know how to make our community, district, and America strong and proud because i’ve done it before.
