JOHN,
The fight against antisemitism continues—and we’re going straight to the top.
It’s time to defund the United Nations.
For months, rumors that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) had a relationship with Hamas have been swirling, but it’s hard to believe, right? After all, the UN’s stated purpose is to “maintain international peace.”
What a joke.
According to reports, a dozen people from the agency were directly involved in the horrific attacks on our friends in Israel on October 7. But it gets worse: another 1,200 employees of the agency have direct connections to Hamas—and surprise, surprise, a Hamas compound was found right underneath UNRWA Gaza headquarters.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been down the rabbit hole with the UN, but it should be the last. In fact, President Trump halted funding to the agency years ago—only to have the Biden administration rev up the engines again in 2021.
As usual, Democrats don’t do their homework to ensure the cash they freely give stays out of terrorists’ hands, and it’s a disgrace.
Yes, the U.S. State Department said it was “extremely troubled” by the latest development and has paused funding for the agency. But is that enough? The U.S. is the biggest donor to the agency, providing it with at least $730 million in taxpayer dollars since 2021. But they’ve proven they can’t be trusted, and God knows our country is already spending money we don’t have at an alarming rate.
The writing’s on the wall here, folks. The UNRWA is an arm of Hamas that needs to be dismantled, and it’s time to rethink our relationship with the UN—for good. Do you agree with me on this important issue?
