Friend, have you heard? The Biden administration is manipulating federal law to enforce its own agenda.
In August 2022, the Biden administration sued the state of Idaho, manipulating a decades-old federal law, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), to override Idaho’s life-saving law and force doctors to perform abortions. EMTALA requires emergency room doctors to provide care to those who can’t afford treatment, including pregnant women and their unborn children. But the Biden administration is trying to misuse the law to prevent the people of Idaho from putting the lives of women and their children first.
Now, with the support of attorneys at Alliance Defending Freedom and the law firm Cooper & Kirk, the Office of the Idaho Attorney General is standing up to the administration’s lawlessness and will defend Idaho’s law at the U.S. Supreme Court in April. And thankfully, the high court has also allowed Idaho’s life-saving law to go into effect while the litigation continues.
What do you think? Should the Biden administration override Idaho’s life-saving law? Take our survey to share your opinion!
