Assisted Suicide is Not Healthcare
Dr. Errol Baptist writes, "In each instance, the primary need of the person was to heal and to be provided comfort and extension of life, provided for by readily available means at physicians’ disposal in every Western health care system. The oath I and other physicians have sworn obliges that 'I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect.' What is plainly obvious is that assisted suicide is a solution to a problem that does not exist."
