I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what we’ve already achieved together.

But I didn’t run to win a primary -- I joined this race to go to Congress and fight for the people of the Third District. We’ve got seven months to go, and now it’s our job to build a campaign that can win in November.

I’ll be honest. The current public health crisis has been tough on a lot of us, and it’s forced our campaign to adjust in major ways. It means I’m counting on online donations more than ever before.

Our first FEC deadline of the general election is just a few days away -- if you can, please chip in before the end of the month to build this grassroots campaign.

Over the next seven months we’ll continue to build our team on the ground and online. We’ll need to keep getting our message out and showing the kind of leadership that our communities need in Congress.

Doing all of that takes resources. So we can’t let the foot off the gas right now. If we want to make sure there’s a new day in IL-03, we need to get to work—while, at least for the near future, not leaving our homes.
