"Energy efficiency upgrades for rural businesses funded"
— The Telegraph, Feb 16, 2024

“As small businesses struggle with the impacts of high energy costs, the Rural Energy for America Program is making localized investments in renewable energy production to help folks lower their power bills,” said Budzinski. “I’m thrilled to announce that $1.8 million in federal funding is headed to 10 small businesses in Madison and Macoupin counties to bring more energy production online, bring down costs and reduce harmful carbon emissions.”

Team —

Local family farms are absolutely vital to our communities. Supporting and investing in small businesses, including the farms and farmers that feed our families is one of Nikki’s top priorities, that’s why she fought for a $1.8 million dollar investment in farms across Madison and Macoupin counties.

Our local farms need support as they prioritize running their farms sustainably and ensure they have the tools necessary to reduce negative impacts on our environment.

So, can we count on you to pitch in before the end of the month to help us reelect Nikki and keep her fighting for farmers across Illinois?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Many farmers will now have the funds to be able to invest in energy and cost-saving solar arrays, saving these small businesses hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As a member of the House Committee on Agriculture, Nikki is laser-focused on ensuring that we’re not only investing in farmers, but making sure that we do everything in our power to protect the climate and environment that are critical to our food chain.

So please, pitch in $10 (or more!) right now to help keep us on track this month as we work to reelect Nikki this cycle.
