We’re just two months away from the hotly-contested Democratic primary challenge to Rep. Summer Lee, and we're starting to see her opponents ramp up familiar attacks to defeat her.
Just this week, the first TV ad of the cycle went on the air, and *surprise* — it's a scaremongering attack ad against Summer Lee.
Attacks like these aren’t new for Summer — she fended off similar attacks to win her seat two years ago. But this year, Republican-funded groups like AIPAC are pledging to spend $100 million or more to try to oust her and other progressive members of Congress with attacks like these.
That’s why it’s critical that we have the resources we need to counter their attacks and reach voters now.

We can’t let AIPAC and the right-wing billionaires who fund them succeed in their plan to decimate the ranks of progressives in Congress and put MAGA Republicans in control of all levers of government.
We need to stand up for Summer and every WFP champion in Congress, and counter every attack these extremist forces throw our way before the first primaries which start in just a few weeks.
That might not mean matching them dollar-for-dollar, but it means raising enough so that we can get our own message out to voters. The good news is that WFP champions like Summer Lee represent the interests of their constituents, not billionaire Republican donors. That makes them a target of attacks — but it also means their message resonates much louder.
We’re planning to spread that message — through phone banks, text banks, door-to-door canvasses, TV and digital ads, and postcard campaigns.
But in order to bring our voter outreach plans up to scale and out-organize AIPAC’s millions, we need an increase in grassroots support now.
