We continue to live in uncertain times, and it’s times like this we depend on our government most. That’s what motivates us to go on with this campaign.

In times of crisis, we need a slate of candidates that put people above ‘profits’ and have the fortitude to get us what we need during this critical period.

This week, Lindsey was endorsed by Brand New Congress, an organization with a mission that is more relevant now than ever: to make sure the government is accountable to the people they serve and responsive to the needs of all Americans.

This endorsement was key in showing that Lindsey has what it takes to get things done as we adjust to new safety measures.

The new nature of campaigning means we have to organize online, contact voters virtually and on the phone, and that takes more resources to transition to those tactics. Our team includes moms and young people who are working on this campaign to fight for their futures. We need funds to keep these talented staff hard at work in this new age of campaigning.

This new reality also means we must continue to push for the change we need in Congress — change we need to see us through this crisis and prepare us to be better protected for whatever comes next.

The need for universal healthcare, affordable housing, critical infrastructure improvements in New York City’s bridges and public transportation, and a Green New Deal was already urgent. How the government acts during this crisis will have long-lasting effects on our future.

Lindsey has a record of results during a crisis. As a Senior Advisor to Governor Cuomo, she led relief efforts for Puerto Rico on behalf of New York after Hurricane Maria. She knows what we need to get through this emergency. She’s called for $2K direct cash payments + $500 per dependent; doubling unemployment benefits and eliminating red tape to get them faster; and grants, not loans for small businesses so they are not driven further in debt.
