John,
When talking with Democrats across our state, I often get asked about ways to get involved. Folks follow everything going on in Washington and Dover but wonder how best to interact with the Democratic Party locally. One of my favorite recommendations is our monthly County Party meetings.
County meetings are a great entry point into the local party. At these monthly meetings, district chairs from across the county gather with county party leadership (the county chair and officers) to discuss everything from voter contact initiatives and campaign updates to news about events and legislation. Like all our public meetings, county meetings are open to all registered Democrats!
The involvement of local Democrats is vital in shaping the future of our party and state, especially in an election year of such significance. Mark your calendars for your county’s monthly meeting:
