The Sunrise Movement has been the champion of the Green New Deal, making it a central topic of conversation in 2020 Democratic primaries up and down the ballot. As young people organize and fight for an end to the climate crisis, Sunrise Movement understands the need to amplify the voices of those in our communities who are most often left behind by our leaders in Washington. 

With the support of the Sunrise Movement, we’ll make sure to continue transforming the local and national conversations on climate change and hold elected leaders in Washington accountable for not stepping up.

To make this vision a reality, we will need leaders who support a Green New Deal and are free from the influence of the fossil fuel industry. It’s also going to take sustained, collective support and action from people just like you.
