Early voting in the Texas primary election started this week, and we are heading into the election in a very strong position. On Friday, the Houston Chronicle endorsed Lizzie for re-election. Here’s a little bit of what the editorial board had to say:

“Fletcher … is a well-liked three-term incumbent who works as hard as any member of the Texas delegation. She stays engaged with her constituents, holding quarterly public meetings and dozens of public events, and says she’s brought $643 million in federal taxpayer dollars back to her district. She has proven she can work across the aisle in an extremely polarized and narrowly divided House of Representatives … That’s the kind of effective representation we believe Fletcher’s constituents elected her for. We urge Democratic voters to give her another chance to keep her seat in November.”
Voters in the 7th District can start casting their ballots for Lizzie! That includes Lizzie, who cast her ballot with Scott at an early voting location in the district!
