*Gov. Reynolds appoints Mark Fisher as District Judge*  

 

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Mark Fisher as a district judge in Judicial District 6.  

 

Fisher, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is Partner at Howes Law Firm P.C. and serves as a Judicial Magistrate. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and his law degree from the University of Iowa.

 

Fisher fills a vacancy created following the retirement of the Hon. Sean McPartland. Judicial District 6 includes Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, and Tama counties.
