Dear John,

For many, a visit to the zoo or aquarium is a fun-filled day out for the family. But when the happy crowds have been and gone, the animals imprisoned here do not get to go home.

Their freedom was taken from them. ([link removed]) They will live their whole lives to entertain and make a profit. With your help, we can be here making a stand for animals in captivity.

We have just launched a new campaign to free the penguins from Sea Life London and we will use this campaign to shine a light into the reality that all animals face in aquairums.

Animals like Fry...

Fry is one of the fifteen penguins currently held in the basement of the London Sea Life Centre. He is unwillingly part of the company's captive breeding programme, aiming to increase the Gentoo penguin population under the guise ([link removed]) of conservation, ([link removed]) despite the species not being threatened in the wild.

Because of his 'usefulness' to Sea Life, Fry has spent his life being shipped from Melbourne, to Denmark, to Birmingham and then to London. No autonomy, no freedoms, no resemblence of a natural life.

Help us to free Fry and his friends from this imprisonment. ([link removed])

Animals like Lulu...

Lulu is a Green Sea Turtle, ([link removed]) who is held captive at Brighton Sea Life Centre. She has lived almost 84 years in captivity. It is believed that she was stolen from the wild oceans as a tiny hatchling, to be used in a soap advert.

In the decades since, she has been passed around from London Zoo, to Blackpool Tower Aquarium, and finally to her current tank at Brighton Sea Life centre. She is confined to the inescapable walls of her artificial world.

Her tank is nothing compared to wild, rich, diverse and colourful oceans she deserves.

For the animals,
