I’m Charlotte — the Digital Director on Team Stein. It’s my job to make sure we’re building a strong, engaged grassroots community so that Josh can take on his extremist Republican opponent, Mark Robinson, and we can protect North Carolina’s governorship.

Every morning, I start my day with a big mug of coffee and a long look at our ActBlue page.

But today, the numbers in ActBlue are making me a bit nervous.

You see, to stay on track with our February digital projections, we need exactly 102 grassroots donors to chip in to emails like this one every single day. Yesterday, that didn’t happen.

So, we need to make up the difference today — because these goals aren’t just random numbers. We calculate what we need to raise each month to stay competitive in this race and the number of grassroots donors we will need to step up to get us to those projections.
