In 2024, multiple states may have referendums on upcoming ballots, including South Dakota, Missouri, and Florida. Their goal is clear: to make Roe v. Wade a permanent law of the land, enshrined in every state constitution. Candidates are campaigning too, with vows to make abortion their sole focus.
