Since she was elected to Congress, Lauren has been a tireless advocate for maternal health and has made incredible strides to address the Black maternal health crisis with her Momnibus package.

Now, Lauren and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) have launched a year-long Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative, which will focus on addressing maternal mortality and improving maternal health in high-need states.

HRSA was a crucial partner in Lauren’s work to write and pass the Momnibus, and this collaboration is a vital step toward saving the lives of Black moms and birthing parents.
