I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
Republicans have a choice to make…
In two weeks, Congress faces another spending deadline. That means Republicans are faced with a choice: will they continue to fund this radical, out-of-control administration? Or will they put a stop to the tyranny?
If Republicans vote to continue spending without any policy changes they are voting to use YOUR tax dollars to fund: military abortions and transgender surgeries, a weaponized Justice Department that labels parents as “domestic terrorists”, open border mayhem, and more.
Republicans must demand meaningful policy wins NOW or their promises will be empty. I will continue fighting to use the power of the purse to secure our border and rein in Biden’s radical agenda.
Texas Teacher Reinstated After Being Fired for Teaching Biology
Huge win! Texas professor Dr. Johnson Varkey has been reinstated after being fired for teaching simple biological truths – e.g., there are only two sexes and they are determined at birth.
Senator Ted Cruz and I are proud to have led a group of lawmakers calling for an investigation into this matter. A teacher should never be fired for teaching the truth.

With Tax season in full swing, the IRS will host Saturday assistance hours. They will have offices open, including in Austin and San Antonio, for you to meet face-to-face with an agent. You can find which days and locations are open at IRS Face-to-Face Saturday Help.
